Stay on the ice in bungalows

Lake Nipissing Ice Fishing Bungalows


Typically we catch walleye (pickerel), perch, pike and whitefish.


Once you are here, the ice bungalow will be warm and cozy. All ice bungalows have bunk beds with foam mattresses, propane furnace and cooktop, table and chairs, drilled holes indoors and outdoors, transportation to and from bungalow, private washroom facilities. 

A kettle, some pots and pans, spoon, spatula, toilet paper, paper towels, plastic bin to wash pots/pans, dish soap, garbage bags and a fire extinguisher are also provided.


The lighting in our ice bungalows is powered by solar and provide our guests light for the low light period. A generator can be provided to our customers (at an extra charge) to charge your phone, use a slow cooker, coffee machine or use a sleep apnea machine.


We suggest that you bring the following items:

  • fishing license

  • pillow and sleeping bag/bedding

  • towels

  • food and drinks (incl. water)

  • paper plates, cutlery and cups

  • warm winter boots and winter outerwear/gear

  • all your fishing gear (rods, tackle, filet knives, etc.)

  • camping chairs if you wish to fish outside

  • you are welcome to bring your own BBQ if you wish to do so.

All transportation is provided, unless of course you bring your own.

  • Drilled holes are provided inside and outside.

  • We supply minnows, a dozen per person upon arrival.

  • Extra bait available upon request at local rates.

  • We can supply tip ups.

  • Washroom facility at huts

  • Ice huts are approximately 2 km from base.
